ABOUT LØS PÅ TRÅDEN
Løs på tråden is a sustainable brand, located in the heart of Copenhagen. The brand is built on the idea that recycling is the path to sustainable fashion. All designs from Løs på Tråden are created from recycled and upcycled materials and with focus on minimizing waste in production. The shirt dress has quickly become Løs på tråden's signature dress. It is an unique design that is put together from shirts and fabrics found at thrift stores across the country. All materials are carefully hand-picked by the designer behind: - Henriette Winther.

Henriette has a bachelor in Textile Design, Handicraft, and Communication. Therefore, she has an understanding of the textile field, and experience with everything from cutting to embroidery, knitting and crochet to textile printing. With great respect for the textile's life cycle, Henriette has created Løs på tråden, where upcycling and recycling are behind every single design.
Behind the name lies a philosophy of living without limits. Through curiosity about materials, Henriette wants to create a brand where she is not limited by doing the same things. She started making dresses, but quickly came up with other, smaller designs, which allowed her to utilize the material to its fullest and use all of her creative abilities. Now the brand offers from scrunchies and bags, to home accessories and Christmas decoration.

In her studio in Kronprinsessegade, all designs are cut, sewn and overlooked. And because all materials are unique and hand-picked, you get unique dresses that can be customize and there will always be one that suits you and your style.
